TERMS OF SERVICE
OVERVIEW
Welcome to AnnoBolt. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to AnnoBolt.
AnnoBolt operates this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services provided to you (the “Services”). Our online store is powered by Shopify.
These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced within them, set out the terms that apply when you access our website, use our Services or purchase products from AnnoBolt.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or placing an order.
By accessing our website, using our Services or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our Services.
ABOUT ANNOBOLT
AnnoBolt specialises in customisable anodised aluminium fasteners for automotive and motorsport applications.
Our aluminium fasteners are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium and are available in a variety of anodised colours.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in an individual product description, our aluminium fasteners are intended for decorative, non-safety-critical applications only.
SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND USE OF OUR WEBSITE
By using our website or placing an order, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account details.
You agree that any information you provide to us, including your name, email address, billing information and delivery information, is accurate, current and complete.
You must not use our website or Services for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, the appearance of products may vary slightly from photographs displayed online.
AnnoBolt is not liable for damage, injury or loss resulting from the misuse of our products. Please always ensure products are suitable for their intended application and installed in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
Anodising is an electrochemical finishing process, and slight variations in colour, shade and finish may occur between individual components and production batches. Colours may also appear different depending on lighting conditions and screen settings.
Please note that repeated tightening, loosening, installation or removal may cause the anodised finish to scratch, fade or wear over time.
Product descriptions and specifications may be updated where necessary.
We reserve the right to discontinue products or change our product range without prior notice.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right to receive goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.
SECTION 3 – PRODUCT USE AND SUITABILITY
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the individual product description, AnnoBolt aluminium fasteners are sold for decorative, non-safety-critical applications only.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the product, material, dimensions and specification selected are suitable for their intended application.
Products should always be installed correctly and in accordance with the vehicle or equipment manufacturer's specifications and requirements.
Where appropriate, installation should be carried out or checked by a suitably qualified person.
AnnoBolt aluminium fasteners should not be used for safety-critical, structural or load-bearing applications unless the individual product is expressly stated by AnnoBolt as suitable for that purpose.
If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for a particular application, you should obtain appropriate professional advice before installation or use.
SECTION 4 – ANODISED FINISH AND COLOUR VARIATION
Anodising is an electrochemical finishing process and, by its nature, slight variations in colour, shade and finish may occur between individual components and between production batches.
Minor cosmetic variations or surface marks may also occur as a result of the manufacturing and anodising processes.
Colours may appear differently depending on lighting conditions, surrounding materials, photography and individual screen or display settings.
For these reasons, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match between products purchased at different times or manufactured in different production batches.
Please note that repeated tightening, loosening, installation or removal may cause the anodised finish to scratch, fade or wear over time.
These normal variations do not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.
SECTION 5 – ORDERS
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products contained in your order.
After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it.
This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract between you and AnnoBolt is formed when we accept your order and confirm that your products have been dispatched.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- A product is unavailable;
- There has been an obvious pricing or product information error;
- We are unable to obtain authorisation for payment;
- We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity; or
- We are unable to fulfil the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.
Please check your order carefully before submitting it.
SECTION 6 – PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
All products are subject to availability.
We may limit the quantities available for purchase, discontinue products or introduce new products at any time.
Where a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you and, where appropriate, issue a refund.
SECTION 7 – PRICES, VAT AND PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP).
Where applicable, prices include VAT.
Delivery charges are calculated separately and displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any price changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
If we discover an obvious pricing error relating to an order, we may contact you before dispatch to give you the opportunity to continue with the order at the correct price or cancel it.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments are processed securely through our payment providers.
SECTION 8 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1–2 working days.
Orders are normally dispatched Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
Delivery times displayed on our website or at checkout are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Once an order has been dispatched, the time taken for delivery depends upon the delivery service selected.
While we will always do our best to dispatch orders promptly, delays may occasionally occur with Royal Mail or other delivery providers which are outside AnnoBolt's direct control.
Where applicable, tracking information will be provided after your order has been dispatched.
Where AnnoBolt arranges delivery, the goods remain at AnnoBolt's risk until they come into the physical possession of you or a person identified by you to receive them.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights in relation to delivery.
SECTION 9 – RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase.
Our returns, cancellations and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy, which can be viewed here:
/policies/refund-policy
Where you are purchasing as a consumer, nothing in our Returns & Refund Policy or these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have.
If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not meet your statutory rights, please contact us so that we can resolve the matter.

Customers are responsible for checking the suitability and specification of products for their intended application.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts your statutory rights.
If you are purchasing as a UK consumer, AnnoBolt has a legal duty to supply products that comply with applicable consumer law, including products being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose where applicable and as described.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful for us to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
SECTION 17 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
For consumers, nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights or any remedies available to you under applicable consumer law.
Subject to those rights and to the extent permitted by law, AnnoBolt will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.
If you use products purchased from AnnoBolt for business or commercial purposes, we will not be responsible for loss of profits, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity to the extent permitted by law.

Such circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, transport disruption, interruption to postal or courier services, war, civil emergencies, pandemics, government restrictions or major failures of communications or technology infrastructure.
This section does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
SECTION 20 – WAIVER
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce that provision later.
SECTION 21 – CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our products, Services, business practices or applicable law.
The latest version of these Terms will be published on this page.
Changes will apply from the date the updated Terms are published unless otherwise stated.
Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms applicable to an order already accepted unless required by law.
SECTION 22 – GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the laws applicable in the part of the United Kingdom or other jurisdiction in which you live, where those rights apply and cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict any right you may have to bring proceedings in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
